Dieser Aspekt erscheint mir appropriate, weil unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen an das Thema Tier und Mensch und ihr Agieren miteinander erläutert werden. Im zweiten Kapitel soll es um das Tier im Gesetz gehen. Dabei steht zunächst Deutschland im Fokus. Um zwei Kontraste zur gesetzlichen Stellung des Tieres in Deutschland zu bilden, werden danach die Schweiz und Neuseeland belichtet. In einem letzten Paragraphen wird die ethische Perspektive auf das Thema bezogen. Hierbei werden die Ansätze Dreier verschiedener Ethiker beziehungsweise Philosophen dargelegt, auch in Bezug auf den Fleischkonsum.

Das Überthema dieses Seminarkurses waren Lebensperspektiven und –Übergänge. Während der Themenfindung, überlegte ich mir used to be alles Übergänge in meinem Alltag sind. Ich kam auf den Übergangszustand des Hungers. used to be tun wir Menschen bei starvation? Wir essen! Und was once? Oftmals Tierfleisch! Doch warum tun wir das? Warum stellt der Mensch sich in seiner Beziehung mit dem Tier über jenes? Dies soll das Thema dieser Arbeit sein. So warfare nicht nur das Überthema des Übergangs und das der Lebensperspektiven (in diesem Fall die von Tieren) abgedeckt, ich hatte auch noch einen persönlichen Bezug zum Thema: Mein Großvater battle 50 Jahre der Besitzer einer Metzgerei. Der Konsum von Tierfleisch gehört für mich sozusagen zum Alltag.
